Fun Town RV hired TJ Smith as the company’s vice president of expansion and national brand development. The Texas-based dealership plans to add 30 new stores by 2025.

“We are very proud to add a talent like TJ Smith to the Fun Town RV family,” CEO Jarrod McGhee said. “TJ brings a strong resume, with a proven track record of accomplishments.”

Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the RV industry. Fun Town said Smith is driven and learned firsthand the ins and outs of the industry.

“You take a strong leader like TJ and our corporate team, you put them in a market where the overhead is dramatically less than the competition,” McGhee said. “Then combine that with the ability to provide a higher quality product and at lower cost to consumers, you get the best pay plans and working environment in the industry, a recipe for success.”

Fun Town RV has six future stores in progress and 24 targeted to open in the next three years.

“I am very confident, using our concept of green-fielding locations in strong territories that are under severed,” McGhee said, “we can come in and dominate those markets.”
