nuCamp RV, a manufacturer of campers and teardrop trailers based in Sugarcreek, Ohio, announced the online Virtual uCamp20 in light of COVID-19 restrictions on in-person events.

The 4th annual uCamp event was scheduled for June 22-26 in Sugarcreek, Ohio prior to this change. The gathering is made up of TAG, TAB, and teardrop enthusiasts. Earlier this year, the event sold out in record time of four hours, according to NuCamp.

Attendees set to attend the annual event this year represent 33 states and Canada. However, with less than 90 days until the event, nuCamp was forced to cancel the annual celebration event due to COVID19.

“The health and safety of our owners, team members, vendors and exhibitors will always be our top priority,” said Scott Hubble, nuCamp CEO.

Longtime ambassador, advocate and friend Mandy Lea has partnered with nuCamp to create the Virtual uCamp20. The virtual event features shared videos, greetings, a plant tour and versions of the scheduled activities attendees would have shared at the event.

The experience is being released in 3 parts, culminating on Friday, June 26th.  It is available to view on YouTube here and being promoted primarily through Facebook and nuCamp’s website here.

“We will missing spending time this summer with our second family,  but we will have to wait until next year,” Hubble said.

Plans are already in motion for uCamp21 and the dates of the event will be released during the Virtual event on Friday, June 26th.
