The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) will host a webinar at 2 p.m. ET Apr. 5 about how the H.R.2. Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, also known as the Farm Bill, can boost outdoor recreation.
Industry experts will explore how the legislation can grow local economies, invigorate rural communities, build sustainable infrastructure as well as secure access to public lands and waters, ORR said.
The bill was signed into law on December 20, 2018, and comprises Titles I-XII. The bill’s Title II impacts conservation and includes funding to implement a Voluntary Public Access and Habitat Program to encourage public access for hunting and other recreational activities.
