Biography
Chris Hermon, RV Group Manager for Jayco, Heartland RV, and KZ, all subsidiaries of Thor Industries Inc., started his current position in 2019. An Ohio native, he now lives in Goshen, Indiana, with his wife and their two sons.
Hermon graduated from Ball State University’s 1995 class with a criminal justice degree and a business minor. He served in the United States Air Force from 1988 to 1992 and the Air Force Reserves until 1995.
Hermon started in the RV industry as Keystone RV General Manager for the company’s Cougar, Hornet and Hideout travel trailer brands. In 2009, while serving as Vice President of Sales at Forest River, Inc., Hermon co-founded their Prime Time Manufacturing division. From 2012 to 2019, he served as President of Heartland RV and its companies, DRV Luxury Suites and Cruiser RV. Bob Martin, who originally hired Chris at Keystone RV, later hired him as Thor’s RV general manager for Heartland, Jayco and KZ RV brands.
