Demco revealed last week the Recon Stealth Gooseball-Mounted Fifth Wheel Hitch received a 20,000-pound gross trailer weight rating.
The news was announced at Demco’s booth at the Florida RV SuperShow.
Demco displayed the Recon Stealth hitch and Demco’s optional bulkhead MOLLE Rack throughout the event, giving attendees an up-close look at the hitch’s foldable design and in-bed storage solution.
Demco will have a booth at this week’s NTP-Stag Expo in Kissimmee, Florida, where the Recon Stealth hitch will again be on display.
The company said the hitch is built on the Recon Gooseball-mounted architecture and validated through SAE testing.
Demco said Recon Stealth is the industry’s first foldable fifth wheel hitch design.
Demco said the Recon Stealth provides fifth wheel use while enabling truck bed usability. The hitch folds into a compact configuration when not used.
