Redarc said its Tow-Pro Link will be the most advanced brake controller on the market when it launches in January.

A Redarc spokesperson said the brake controller is built to make towing safer, simpler, and more intuitive.

The spokesperson said, “It brings modern connectivity, improved sway control and an easier install to anyone towing an overland trailer, camper or toy hauler.”

Redarc said the new brake controller is an evolved version of the company’s sway control technology. The Tow-Pro Link will be compatible with electric and hydraulic-over-electric brakes.

“If a trailer begins to sway, a quick press [of a button] activates the system,” a company spokesperson said. “A six-axis sensor then automatically applies the trailer brakes until the sway settles—allowing you to keep both hands on the wheel and stay focused on the road ahead.”

Redarc said the system is controlled via a small, wired remote inside the cabin, the Redarc app or upcoming Apple CarPlay integration.

The Tow-Pro Link mounts underneath the vehicle on the frame rail.

“It plugs directly into the seven-pin harness and secures with zip-ties or screws, keeping the entire module out of the cabin,” the spokesperson said. “Because the controller lives outside, the install is faster, cleaner and avoids the typical hunt for dash space in modern interiors.”
