Relion Battery, a global lithium battery supplier, chose RVLI, LLC to represent the company’s lithium-iron phosphate battery line to the RV aftermarket.

RVLI territory responsibility will include the United States and Canada.

“We are extremely excited to add Relion Battery to our representation of the Advanced Systems Group (ASG) brands, which include ParkPower, Progressive Industries and Blue Sea Systems,” said Reese Bischoff, RVLI owner and National Sales Manager. “Not only will we have a complete ‘drop in’ lithium battery program but we also have all the needed battery switches, circuit protection and accessories, through Blue Sea Systems, to insure a safe, easy-to-install, high performance system.”

As more RV owners are getting out on the road, lithium battery demand has grown the past several years, the companies stated. Relion’s lithium batteries provide more power, lighter weight, longer lifespan, longer run time and more energy for higher consumption than traditional lead-acid batteries.

Another significant benefit, the companies stated, is the lithium batteries are maintenance-free. Lead-acid batteries require active maintenance or life span is shortened.

Relion is leading the world’s transition to lithium energy storage and boasts one of the largest lines of 12-volt, 24-volt, 36-volt and 48-volt lithium battery systems in the industry. As a brand within Brunswick’s Advanced Systems Group, Relion’s focus is on delivering innovative power solutions offering significant advantages in RV applications, the company stated.

“We look forward to working with RVLI as we continue to develop lithium batteries designed for RV installations,” said Christine Feodorov, Relion’s director of sales. “Our batteries are RVC compatible and feature a state-of-the-art battery management system that protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-temperature and short circuit conditions. RVLI’s vast experience in the electrical category will be an integral part of our sales strategies moving forward.”
