Go RV Rentals’ RV Rental Price Index Report found average RV rental prices essentially flat in 2023 and 2024. The report showed a different RV rental market in 2025.

The 2026 RV Rental Price Index Report found that the average cost to rent an RV in the U.S., as of March 2026, was $198 per night. The price is up 8.1% from the $184-a-night price revealed in the 2025 report. In Canada, average rental prices totaled $196 per night, up 3.7% from 2025 levels.

From 2020-2025, Go RV Rentals found average prices rising approximately 4%.

David Kosofsky, founder of Go RV Rentals, said RV rentals continue to stand out as a strong value.

“Travelers can avoid expensive airfare, long security lines and rigid schedules, while enjoying the freedom to go where they want, when they want,” Kosofsky said. “That combination of value and experience is what continues to make RV travel one of the most compelling ways to explore in 2026.”

The most expensive U.S. rental is a Type A motorhome, which averages $343 a night as of March 2026. A Type B motorhome averages $252 a night while a Type C motorhome averages $225 a night.

A travel trailer averages $128 a night to rent in the U.S., with a toy hauler’s average price at $150 a night. A pop-up camper is the least expensive U.S. rental at $93 a night.

In Canada, a Type A motorhome averages $315 a night to rent, a Type C motorhome averages $232 a night and a Type B motorhome averages $231 a night. A toy hauler averages $179 a night to rent, with a travel trailer averaging $131 a night and a pop-up camper averaging $89 a night.
