Pennsylvania state Rep. Rob Mercuri visited Aliner Camper’s manufacturing facility April 6.

Mercuri and Aliner President and CEO Brett Randall discussed outdoor recreation in the state as well as campground modernization, Aliner said.

Randall, who is also chair of RVIA’s legislative committee, voiced interest in how the government spends funds allocated by the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act. The act was signed into law in August 2020.

“When the money gets funneled, we want to ensure that it is going towards enhancing the camping experience for Pennsylvanians,” Randall said. “The emerging generation of campers is a younger, more diverse demographic. They prefer digital means to access outdoor recreation and want to share their experiences across social media. In addition to the maintenance backlog, bathroom upgrades and reliable connectivity are critical.”

The company strives to be an educational point of contact for state and federal legislators on the importance of increased investment in campgrounds on public lands, Aliner said.

Aliner manufactures A-frame RV towable folding trailers.
