Reyco Granning Improves Coating on Suspension Products

Reyco Granning is phasing in the use of a new and superior coating for its suspension products. Salt spry from deicing products used in colder climates causes corrosion on metal vehicle components.

To combat corrosion and other types of damage to its suspension products, the company developed an improved paint product specifically designed for its suspension products. The new paint resists chipping, scratching and gravel damage commonly seen on truck and trailer underbodies.

Samples exceed 2,000 salt spray hours in independent testing. Company officials say this is a critical feature as transportation agencies continue to employ more aggressive deicing materials in colder regions.

The new coating can be recoated with most urethane, acrylic or alkyd resin formulated automotive topcoats or it can be used as a finish coat.

Reyco Granning manufactures suspension products for motorhomes, trailers, commercial trucks, buses and fire and rescue equipment. For more information about Reyco Granning, click here.
