Forest River’s Rockwood and Flagstaff brands have launched the WeRV App, powered by Lippert Components’ (LCI) OneControl technology.

The WeRV app was designed to give end users the ability to control many RV functions from a smartphone. WeRV incorporates an exclusive new feature called “myRV,” which allows Rockwood and Flagstaff to store documents, videos, manuals and other specific information about their particular coach. With that information readily accessible, OEMs will now be able to optimize their RVs’ unique functions, getting the most out of what their coach offers.

Rockwood and Flagstaff are the first to debut the myRV platform. In a press release, LCI said the program itself is intended to operate like an “RV in your pocket,” giving end users the ability to input the make and model of their camper and get a custom-generated profile for a personalized mobile experience. It will provide information tailored to their RV models including auto-populated coach information and preferences, how-to smart tips, troubleshooting assistance and technical information, customer service contact information and more.

“At Rockwood and Flagstaff, we believe in building better RVs and making smarter RVers,” Rockwood/Flagstaff Operations Manager Karl Miller said. “We are excited to introduce the new WeRV Rockwood and Flagstaff camping app, which will enhance the consumer camping experience by providing real-time RV camping materials and smart technology.”

LCI Chief Sales Officer Andy Murray said, “LCI believes that utilizing technology to provide RVers with relevant information anytime they need it is one of the major ways we can positively impact their RVing experience. We’re thrilled to partner with the Rockwood and Flagstaff group to make this a reality for their customers.”

LCI said the WeRV app paired with the new myRV feature will give Rockwood and Flagstaff owners a considerably upgraded RV experience with unique customizations and total controllability at their fingertips. WeRV users can control slide-outs, awnings, and multiple lighting zones as well as receive real-time diagnostics that can inform the owner of their coach’s status, low battery voltage, and other vital information. Owners can also receive custom notifications from Rockwood and Flagstaff that inform them of tips and tricks, new product information, owner events and more.
