During Family RV Association’s (FRVA) 110th International Convention & RV Expo, Discovery Channel “RV There Yet?” hosts Kevin and Patrice McCabe filmed an episode of their show.
The event and filming took place in March at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry. The episode was filmed for the TV series’ fourth season and will air May 10, at 8:30 a.m. ET. The episode also will be uploaded to YouTube on May 11.
While in Perry, the McCabes interacted with FRVA members and hosted the “RV There Yet?” Discovery Zone. The Discovery Zone featured Winnebago RV displays, RV-related product demonstrations and a theater to watch past episodes.
FRVA Director of Events Doug Uhlenbrock said, “It was a thrill having Kevin, Patrice and their friends as part of the ‘Lafitte’s Lost Treasure’ convention. I really enjoyed watching them mingle with attendees, participate in the activities and have a great time.”
Patrice McCabe said from the moment they arrived in Perry, the fun began and never stopped.
“FRVA hosts an amazing event, and it was an honor to not only be a part of it, but to film it for an episode this season,” Patrice McCabe said. “We truly enjoyed debuting the Discovery Zone as part of their rebranding mission and look forward to being a part of FRVA for future events.”
“RV There Yet?” takes viewers along on a road trip to explore America while searching for hidden gems, meeting people, learning about history and inspiring viewers to plan their own RV adventures.
