DRN Media Inc., parent company of RV News Magazine, has hired well-known industry journalist and editor Bruce Hampson as executive editor.
In his new role, Hampson, who has spent nearly 40 years as a journalist and editor in the RV, marine and automotive industries, including more than a dozen years as editor of RV consumer and trade publications, will work closely with RV News Publisher Dana Nelsen and Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Brauns to oversee the monthly Louisville, Colorado-based trade journal.
“Bruce brings a wealth of experience and RV industry knowledge to the team,” Nelsen said. “We have a number of exciting expansion plans for the future and new marketing and media initiatives that will be completed in 2020, for both our RV business executive readers and advertising customers. Our new website is just the tip of the iceberg. I’m really excited about Bruce adding his wisdom and experience to the team.”
Hampson adds his name to the list of legendary journalists and industry experts who have worked at or contributed editorial content to RV News, including Gary Bunzer, Don Magary, Bob Zagamy, Dan Holt and current publisher, Dana Nelsen.
