The Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI) organization named RV News among the top 25 magazines in the world.
RV News earned the distinction from the 2025 Tabbie Awards competition. The business-to-business editorial and design competition, in its 22nd year, included submissions from North America, Australia, India, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
The award follows three consecutive years when RV News Magazine was honored by Folio’s Eddie and Ozzie Awards competition as the best U.S. business-to-business magazine in its category.
“In the last four years, RV News magazine has been named one of the finest business publications, both in the U.S. and globally, by numerous organizations who understand journalism and publishing better than anyone,” DRN Media CEO Dana Nelsen said. “It is extremely humbling to learn that our coverage of the RV industry surpasses what many industries in the U.S. receive from their respective business-to-business magazines. When I try to wrap my head around all the B2B publications globally doing our kind of work, it is overwhelming. I could not be more proud of the RV News editorial team.”
RV News’ September 2024 Elkhart Extravaganza preview issue won the Tabbie Award honor. The 180-page issue included previews of 69 RVs on display at the 2024 Elkhart Extravaganza gathering. Other stories included reports from the Airstream and Jayco annual dealer meetings, a feature on the Sports Unlimited dealership in Michigan and power solutions supplier RV Mobile Power.

The Best Single Issue category winners were LD&A (Lighting Design and Application), which finished first, followed by Monitor on Psychology and Recruiter. RV News was among 22 honorable mention selections, including Farm Equipment, The Foreign Service Journal, Pets+ and Security Management.
TABPI is based in Cleveland and dedicated to bringing together editors working for English-language publications worldwide. The full Tabbie Awards list is available here.
RV News is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026. It produces more editorial content annually than all other RV-related news organizations combined. The company’s primary mission is to find the people and companies doing great things within the industry and ensure everyone knows why their contributions are great.
“Our ‘secret sauce’ for how we approach publishing is quite simple,” Nelsen said. “Business becomes easy and leads to success when you just do one thing right—care about people. We have the privilege of telling other people’s stories and why they are great. I guess if we do that well, the world takes notice, and it comes back to you with recognition like this.”
