The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following 2024 RV recalls:

CRUISER RV

LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

A circuit board that overheats increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 2,407

Cruiser RV is recalling certain 2023-2024 Avenir, Embrace, Shadow Cruiser, Radiance, Stryker, MPG and Twilight travel trailers and 2024 Essence fifth wheels. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 17. Owners may contact Cruiser customer service at 574-206-7920.

LED Backlight Circuit Board Failure May Cause Fire

A circuit board that overheats increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 10,038

Heartland is recalling certain 2023 Elk Ridge, Lithium, 2024 Eddie Bauer, Corterra, 2023-2024 Big Country, Big Horn, South Fork, Fuel, Gravity, Mallard, North Trail, Sundance, Milestone, Pioneer, Prowler, Torque and Trail Runner towables. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 17. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 877-262-8032.

JAYCO, INC.

Power Steering Pressure Line May Detach and Leak

A sudden loss of power steering fluid can result in power steering and power brake assist loss, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,719

Jayco is recalling certain 2020-2022 Entegra Esteem, Odyssey, Greyhawk, Redhawk and Greyhawk Prestige motorhomes. An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake hydro-boost unit may result in sudden power steering fluid loss.

Dealers will replace the power steering pressure line and the hydro-boost jumper line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 30. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 800-283-8267.

WINNEBAGO TOWABLE

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) Outlet Wired Incorrectly

An unprotected GFCI outlet increases the electrical shock and injury risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 94

Winnebago is recalling certain 2024 Access travel trailers. The electrical circuits for the GFCI outlets may have been wired incorrectly, which can cause the outlets to be unprotected.

Dealers will rewire the GFCI circuitry by adding a GFCI outlet upstream of the outlets that need protection, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 13. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 574-825-5280 ext. 5220. Winnebago’s number for this recall is CAM0000036.
