An upcoming seminar is being held in Elkhart to discuss changes coming to the 2026 National Fire Protection Association 1192 Standards. Three new standards will be enforced on Sept. 1, and organizers want those impacted to be prepared.

RVIA said the seminar will cover the 2026 NFPA 1192 Standard on RVs, 2025 ANSI/RVIA Park Model RV Standard, 2026 NFPA NEC 70 and the 2025 Standard for DC Voltage Systems in RVs code changes.

These three standards will be adopted on June 1, with a mandatory enforcement date of Sept. 1.

The seminar will also review the changes in the 2023 CSA Z240 RV Series which was provided as a presentation referenced in SNB-0125 with an accompanied video.

Organizers said that to register for this event, you must read, understand, and agree to a code of conduct.
