The RV Rental Association (RVRA) said it is conducting a survey of RV rental businesses to gauge the current state of the rental market. The survey is designed to gather crucial industry data on fleet size, RV type and consumer preferences.

The RVRA is a unit of the RVDA, and a national association of companies that rent RVs to consumers.

RVRA is asking members to complete the survey which will assist in promoting the rental sector of the RV market. RVRA said the results will also be used to expand consumer understanding of RV rental options.

“This online survey is being conducted through the RV Retailer Intelligence program, a service of the RV Assistance Corporation a wholly owned subsidiary of RVDA,” an RVRA spokesperson said. “Individual responses will remain confidential.”

The response deadline for the survey is April 20.

A similar survey conducted Spring 2025 revealed nearly two-thirds of RV dealers who also rent RVs reported their bookings for the upcoming summer season are equal to or higher than those for the same period last year.

RVRA said an aggregate report on the results will be published this summer, but no individual company responses will be released.
