As the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) continues to grow, new faces are surfacing.

Mary Smith has joined RVTI as a recruitment administrator. Smith will fulfill administrative duties and provide information on the institute’s training sessions. She will speak with those interested in Level 1 and Level 2 training.

“I am excited about that,” Smith said. “I will be the go-to person in Elkhart for the recruitment team.”

Smith has lived in Elkhart, Indiana, for 40 years. She raised two sons in the community, one of whom works for an RV manufacturer.

“Elkhart is the RV capital of the world,” she said. “It is the bread and butter of our economy.”

Smith brings years of sales experience to her new role. She worked as a sales manager in the funeral industry and hospitality industry. She orchestrated event planning including catering, business meetings and room blocks in her hospitality role.

Smith said she is eager to continue to learn about RVTI’s work as she starts her new journey.
