English outdoor technology supplier Scanstrut has launched the DS-HSL-01 Starlink-Compatible Horizontal Cable Seal. The company said its newest product is designed to simplify and enhance cable routing for modern RV rooftop electronics.
A Scanstrut spokesperson said the DS-HSL-01 is designed for Starlink Gen 3, NMEA and RJ45 cables.
“The DS-HSL-01 delivers a clean, low-profile installation for a professional finish for RVs,” a spokesperson said. “Its horizontal entry keeps cables tight to the mounting surface without compromising performance or reliability.”
The cable routing system comes with split, pre-drilled bungs designed for installers to be able to run pre-fitted connectors through without cutting or re-terminating.
Scanstrut said an included self-drill bung option also provides full flexibility for custom cable sizes while keeping a watertight seal.
“Based on the Scanstrut best-selling horizontal cable seal platform, the DS-HSL-01 features a compact, impact-resistant construction that provides superior protection against water ingress,” a spokesperson said. “Rated IP68, it ensures a 100% waterproof seal, even in the harshest outdoor environments.”
Scanstrut said the product works for cable diameters ranging from 2 to 8-millimeters and connector sizes up to 16 millimeters.
