Financial services provider FlexPath DXP, LLC said the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has published its patent application for VeriQual.
VeriQual combines identity verification and credit prequalification.
The patent is filed under application number 19/088,096. VeriQual was invented by FlexPath DXP CEO Tarry E. Shebesta and Chief Technology Officer Joseph Ibershoff.
VeriQual is now a patent-pending product, following the publication of its application. The company said the technology tool enables real-time identity authentication and full credit prequalification with a phone number.
“High traffic does not equal high quality,” Shebesta said. “With VeriQual, we have built the technology that not only protects against fraud but also drives higher quality leads, better conversion and lower costs for dealers and lenders.”
FlexPath DXP said VeriQual ensures every lead is validated by confirming real, in-service phone numbers. The company said VeriQual detects and blocks bots, fake profiles and synthetic IDs.
According to the company, VeriQual will flag ready-to-act buyers who call, text or request directions.
FlexPath is expanding VeriQual deployments with dealers, lenders, agencies and supporting vendors across the RV and other markets.
FlexPath introduced VeriQual in March 2024.
