Soaring Eagle Campers introduced three new truck topper models in the manufacturer’s OV-X brand lineup.
The company now offers truck camper models fitting trucks with an 8-foot bed, a 6.5-foot bed, a 5.5-foot bed and a 5-foot bed.
The OV-X model sits on the top of the truck bed rails and features a pop-up roof section to expand the interior space to nearly 8 feet in most models.
Company founder Scott Tuttle said: “When we first introduced the OV-X brand last fall, we only had the 5.5 (foot) model, designed for the one of the most popular truck bed sizes. We immediately started receiving inquiries asking when we would have models for truck bed sizes, so we are excited to be able to announce that we now have OV-X models available for most truck bed sizes.”
Among the new releases is the OV-X 5.0, made to fit small trucks and vehicles including the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger and Jeep Gladiator.
“These owners love their small trucks,” Tuttle said, “and the fact is there are not a lot of options when it comes to campers that fit their truck platforms.”
The OV-X 5.0 provides a truck camper offering a pull-out bed and ample storage space, the company said. Each OV-X model features all tubular aluminum and composite construction; power roof vents with LED lighting; a strut-assisted pop-up roof; aluminum framed under bed storage; a composite headboard with storage and charging ports and a custom electrical center.
The entire truck camper was built without wood and can be washed out. Options available include roof solar packages, roof racks, flood lights, a Blackstone grill and mollie boards.
Tuttle said the truck campers’ target audience is outdoor enthusiasts who currently camp in tents and do not plan to buy a larger RV.
“With our OV-X product lineup, they can sleep comfortably, safe and secure in their camper while not having to purchase a new tow vehicle,” he said. “Soaring Eagle Campers is bringing a new demographic of buyer into our dealer’s lots by offering them a great product at an affordable price.”
