Sobel University Releases Winter Training Schedule

Sobel University’s five-day Comprehensive Sales Course soon will be offered in Atlanta and Tacoma, Washington.

The course will be conducted Oct. 13-17 in Tacoma and Dec. 1-5 in Atlanta.

In 2026, Tacoma will host the course Jan. 5-9 and Feb. 2-6.

The Comprehensive Sales Course is a “boot camp” class for new and experienced salespeople and managers. Sobel University said students can expect a challenging eight hours of classroom instruction, with homework every night and exams every day.

Students are put into role-playing situations to sharpen their skills. With five experience levels, salespeople can expect a challenge, even if they have attended the course in the past.

Sobel University President Jered Sobel said winter training gives salespeople the opportunity to improve their skills in the offseason, so they are prepared and confident heading into show season in January. He said winter is an ideal time for team building, aligning sales teams, reinforcing best practices and ensuring everyone is on the same page.

“Dealers are increasingly looking for ways to help their sales team break bad habits and play at a higher level,” Sobel said. “This course offers dealers the opportunity to build their team, fire up their salespeople and give everyone the tools to be successful.

Sobel said investing in a dealership’s sales team through sales-focused professional development courses will increase employee retention and give greater returns. Salespeople who are not performing at the level they should be can brush up on the necessary skills to succeed.
