Torklift’s GlowStep Revolution models, A8172 (two-step) and A8173 (three-step), are now available to fit Airstream Basecamp trailers.
The company said Basecamp RVers who previously sought to upgrade their trailer steps faced limited options.
Torklift said the GlowStep Revolution series is popular among owners of many Airstream models. GlowStep Revolution was first released for Airstream International, Globetrotter and Flying Cloud models in 2024. Earlier this year, Torklift released GlowStep Revolution stairs for Airstream Bambi and Caravel trailers.
Torklift said the GlowStep Revolution features adjustable all-terrain landing gear coupled with a multi-hinge link design for adjustability. The company said the steps maintain a stable entry on uneven ground or slopes.
The company said the GlowStep Revolution models use SureGrip tread for solid footing. The step system glows in the dark to prolong visibility in low-light conditions. The company said five minutes of the steps’ exposure to light can provide up to 10 hours of visibility.
Torklift said the steps’ components are made from aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel to resist rust and complement Airstream’s look.
The steps are made in the U.S. and include Torklift’s lifetime warranty.
