More than 200 teardrop trailers gathered in Sugarcreek, Ohio, last week to celebrate manufacturer nuCamps’ annual in-person rally.
The uCamp Teardrop Rally was held virtually for two years because of Covid-related restrictions. This year, nuCamp teardrop owners were invited back to Winklepleck Grove Campground, less than a mile from the manufacturer’s facility, to network with other teardrop enthusiasts.
“…as the tagline for this year’s event states, we are indeed, ‘better together,’” nuCamp CEO Scott Hubble said. “It is a tremendous feeling seeing over 400 members of our nuCamp family come together to experience a week full of fun, friends and fellowship. One of the main reasons we are on this earth is to help improve the lives of those around us. Making high quality products provides us the platform to do that, but it is the human connections that are truly impactful.”
Event participants experienced nuCamp plant tours, Q&A sessions with company technicians, a swap meet and multiple group meals. Guests were provided a full entertainment schedule and opportunities to explore the Sugarcreek area with camper-led activities.
Kathleen Nadolski, a nuCamp customer who owns a TAB 320 unit, traveled from Port Washington, Wisconsin, to attend the rally. Another attendee trekked from Independence, Virginia, touting the in-person rally as their third.
“The people from nuCamp are wonderful,” Nadolski said. “It is the care they show. The organization of this is amazing. But the best thing is the other nuCamp owners that I have been able to meet. They are wonderful people. It is like being a member of a special fellowship.”
nuCamp unveiled dates for its next teardrop rally in 2022, slated June 13-17.
