Thor Motor Coach revealed a concept of the Tellaro type B van at Thor Industries dealer open house event in September. The company said dealer observations were overwhelmingly positive. The Tellaro offers an optional Re(Li)able lithium power system and increased storage capacity.
An exterior accessory package includes the patio awning, bike rack, portable ladder, and roof racks. The Go Power 190-watt solar charging system allows an additional energy source if boondocking. Winegard provides the ConnecT 2.0 4G/WiFi system in the vehicle for those looking to get off the grid but still need to stay connected.
Two floor plan layouts are available to satisfy varying tastes. The 20LT features dual twin beds, converting to a king bed, and a rear bathroom. The 20AT floorplan has a forward-facing booth with three-point seat belts and a convertible sleeping area in the back that can accommodate larger items like kayaks or fishing poles. The 20AT model is available with an optional Sky Bunk™ on the roof for moonlit sleeping under the stars.
Convenience features on the Tellaro, include a 7-inch touchscreen dash radio with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay capability. The Rapid Camp+ multiplex wiring platform makes setting up camp easy, and the Truma® Combi Eco water heater/furnace provides fast water heat times. The 20AT features a cassette toilet for those who do not want a black tank, This feature is available as an option on the 20LT floorplan.
