A new role has been created and filled at Tiffin Motorhomes. The manufacturer said its former director of quality control Michael Fennell will now serve as Tiffin’s first Vice President of Quality.

Fennell has been with Tiffin for five years and said he was honored to take over the new position.

“Our focus is on driving consistency,” Fennell said, “and ensuring our owners continue to receive the quality they expect.”

As vice president of quality, Fennell will lead quality control across all Tiffin and Cornerstone products while overseeing the full lifecycle from product conception through the end-user warranty experience.

Jayco-Tiffin Group CEO Ken Walters said Fennell’s focus includes strengthening inline manufacturing quality, enhancing the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) processes and leveraging warranty data to drive improvement.

“Delivering consistent quality requires strong alignment across product development, manufacturing, PDI and customer service,” Walters said. “By connecting these teams through clear ownership and disciplined use of key quality metrics, we are ensuring every Tiffin motorhome meets the standards our customers expect.”

Tiffin Chief Operations Officer Allen Bridges said Fennell is also helping lead the modernization of the company’s quality systems, including new software.

Fennell will be leading the rollout of Critical to Quality inspections across manufacturing lines. He will also lead executive-quality audits with members of the executive team during final PDI inspections.

“At Tiffin Motorhomes, we are focused on strengthening execution and reinforcing accountability across the business, starting with quality,” Bridges said. “Quality is the responsibility of every team member across our organization, and Michael’s promotion reflects our commitment to putting the right leadership in place to drive consistency, improve performance and deliver products our customers can trust.”

Fennell has previously held roles as Tiffin Process Engineer and Process Engineer Manager. Tiffin said those roles enable Fennell to bring experience in manufacturing processes and quality systems.

“The standard we are working toward was set by Bob Tiffin,” Bridges said, “and we are committed to upholding and building on that legacy every day.”
