Storyteller Overland announced it has hired Timothy Morgan to take on a new role with its national sales and business development team this week.

Morgan will step into the newly created VP of National Sales position, where he will promote Storyteller’s culture, product range and relationship-driven business model to the company’s rapidly growing nationwide dealer network.

Morgan brings knowledge and a reputation within the industry, as he comes from a family background of multiple generations in the RV business. He began working with RVs by washing campers as a teenager, and then eventually worked his way through the ranks to high level sales positions for the likes of Roadtrek / Hymer North America (which was at the time the clear market share leader in the Class B RV space). Following the acquisition of Roadtrek by the French conglomerate Rapido / Westfalia, Morgan was retained by the new management to help lead the charge for re-introducing the Roadtrek brand to the industry.

Morgan said the culture and feeling drew him to join forces with a smaller startup manufacturer like Storyteller Overland after having established a track record of success with much larger players in the space.

“Simply put it was the integrity, quality, and culture of what Storyteller is building,” Morgan said. “I wanted to be a part of a team that is absolutely revolutionizing the way business gets done and customer’s expectations get exceeded in our industry.”

His knowledge of the Class B space and the inner workings of dealer operations will bring a fresh perspective to the team, Storyteller Overland said in its announcement.

“When you are fully committed to constantly building a high quality product and supporting your dealers, your customers, and your people in ways no one has ever seen before, you can attract rockstar level talent to your team… and we are confident that Timothy is going to take us to another level,” said Andrew Cooley, Storyteller Overland’s VP of Business Development and co-founder. “We are so happy to welcome him to the Storyteller family.”
