Traveland RV has acquired Big Boy’s Toys in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia.
The dealership is Traveland RV’s second Vancouver Island location, joining Traveland RV Cowichan Valley.
Traveland RV Group Managing Director Chris Clarke said the company is excited to serve customers in the island’s north and south.
“Big Boy’s Toys is a natural fit with brands like Jayco, Northern Lite and Leisure Travel Vans,” Clarke said, “as we continue our strategic growth throughout Western Canada.”
Traveland RV operates 10 locations in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Traveland RV expanded to Vancouver Island in 2022 by acquiring Greg’s RVs in Cowichan Valley (Duncan, British Columbia). Traveland RV said the location quickly became one of the company’s top-rated dealerships. The company said the Nanoose Bay location will bring that same level of service, selection and expertise to the island’s central and northern communities.

This is the second dealership acquired by Traveland RV in recent months. The chain purchased Saskatchewan’s Minard’s Leisure World in September.
