Truma Coolers Displayed to Disaster Relief Industry

Truma North America partnered with veteran-owned emergency response company Everything LifeSaving to showcase the Truma Cooler to the disaster relief industry.

Everything LifeSaving will provide disaster preparedness training utilizing the Truma Cooler at the Storm Expo, the nation’s leading event for natural disaster preparation, management, and relief efforts. The event is scheduled for Feb. 7-8 in Miami.

Paul Herrera, the Everything LifeSaving founder, sought out the Truma Cooler for its ability to work with alternative power sources like generators and lithium-ion batteries in situations where electricity is not available. Because Truma Coolers are able to cool to minus-8 degrees Fahrenheit without using ice, they can store more vital supplies than a traditional cooler, Truma stated. The coolers’ construction provides additional protection for life-saving supplies such as temperature-sensitive medications, food and water.

Truma Outdoor Sales Representative Marla Fredrich said Truma is excited about showing the product in the new market.

“The Truma Cooler is built for rugged, outdoor use,” Fredrich said. “While we initially designed it with off-grid recreation in mind, a lot of those same features are invaluable in emergency situations as well.”
