Vancouver, British Columbia-based battery supplier Delta-Q Technologies launched a new partner program to provide battery and battery management system (BMS) makers with resources to pursue OEM opportunities.

The program lets battery suppliers combine marketing efforts with Delta-Q. The initiative – “Charged by Delta-Q” – will offer global OEMs access to a network of existing and compatible battery and charging technology.

“Delta-Q’s compatibility program is an exciting opportunity for us to build our brand, establish deeper trust with customers and grow our business,” Delta-Q VP of Business Development Lloyd Gomm said. “By signifying our compatibility with our battery partners, we are able to expand our reach and showcase the true quality and reliability of our solutions to OEMs.”

Delta-Q is headquartered in Vancouver as part of Zapi Group. The supplier’s distribution spans five continents to service industries such as RV, lift and utility trucks, e-mobility, aerial work platforms and floor care machines.

The supplier stated its compatibility program was created to give OEMs confidence battery and charger combinations will provide their electric products with “best-in-class performance, prolonged battery life and maximum uptime.” Through the program, OEMs can view tested algorithms and integrations with Delta-Q’s chargers and battery variety.

Battery partners that participate in the program will receive a “Charged by Delta-Q” marking to use on their products, packaging and marketing materials. The initiative provides opportunities to grow revenue streams and target new industries and regions that Delta-Q currently operates in, the company stated.

“This program is an important milestone as we look to advance engagement and collaboration across manufacturers in the electric drive vehicle and industrial equipment sectors,” said Steve Blaine, Delta-Q co-CEO and executive VP of engineering and quality. “Our compatibility program aims to help our battery partners leverage Delta-Q’s brand and global footprint to drive their business forward and enter new markets. We are thrilled about the potential of this program and eager to see the innovations that result.”

The supplier stated participating manufacturers will be included in a comprehensive product type table on Delta-Q’s website.
