
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following 2025 RV recalls:
DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA, LLC
Fuel Filter Hoses May Disconnect and Leak Fuel
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the fire risk. An engine stall increases the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 277
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Freightliner Custom Chassis XCM, 2022-2025 Custom Chassis XCR, 2024 Custom Chassis XBS and 2024-2025 Custom Chassis XCS chassis, equipped with certain Cummins L9 diesel engines. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall.
Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 11. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 800-547-0712 or Cummins customer service at 800-286-6467. DTNA’s number for this recall is F1016.
FOREST RIVER, INC.
Incorrect Dry Weight on Federal Placard Label
Referencing an incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 64
Forest River is recalling certain 2025 Coachmen Catalina travel trailers. Federal placard labels list the incorrect vehicle’s dry weight.
Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 5. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-825-4995. Forest River’s number for this recall is 203-1889.
WINNEBAGO TOWABLE
Cooktop Flame May Invert
An inverted cooktop flame increases the injury or fire risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 144
Winnebago is recalling certain 2025 Winnebago Minnie travel trailers. The cooktop flame may invert when the stove and furnace are operated at the same time.
Dealers will install a panel to separate the furnace and cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 23. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 574-825-5280 Ext. 5220. Winnebago’s number for this recall is CAM0000041.
