RVIA said Tuesday that the Spring 2026 edition of RV RoadSigns projects 2026 wholesale shipments to be up from last year, marking a third straight year of shipment increases.

The most recent quarterly forecast projects 2026 shipments to range from 328,000 to 367,000, with a median of 349,000.

The latest forecast is down 300 shipments from the previous 349,300 forecast in the Winter 2025 edition.

RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby said, “RV shipments are expected to continue showing steady progress this year, building on the 342,200 units shipped in 2025 and marking a third consecutive year of growth for the industry. The near-term outlook is supported by improving economic fundamentals and stabilizing RV market conditions with momentum building in the second half of the year to position the industry for more durable future growth.”

RVIA will host a webinar with ITR Economics for an in-depth explanation of the new forecast at 2 p.m. EDT March 18.

Since 1985, ITR claims an overall forecast accuracy at 94.7% at one year out.

The first year RVIA recorded wholesale RV shipments above 400,000 was 2016. Over the next three years, wholesale RV shipments averaged 464,767 RVs annually.

The last time the RV industry registered four consecutive years with fewer than 400,000 wholesale RV shipments was 2012-2015.
