Winnebago is returning to its roots with the introduction of its Access travel trailer line for the 2024 model year.

Access is a stick-and-tin travel trailer, starting at under $30,000 MSRP. Joel Eberlein, vice president of the Winnebago brand’s towables division, said Winnebago launched as a towable company in 1948 and the Access line recalls the manufacturer’s beginnings.

“We are thrilled to expand our legendary portfolio of Winnebago brand travel trailers into the conventional-class segment, which will give more people the opportunity to experience the joy of outdoor travel,” Eberlein said. “Understanding the importance of this endeavor, we built the Access using insights gained from conversations with dealers and consumers—to ensure it met their varied needs and wishes.”

Access will include four floorplans at launch, including two bunk house models. The travel trailer will be on public display first at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, before appearing at Winnebago’s Elkhart Extravaganza display the last week of September.

Winnebago said Access has clean and contemporary European styling and ample storage, along with premium features other trailers do not offer.

The Access has eight premium amenities as standard, the manufacturer said. These include:

  • A factory-supplied 200-watt solar panel.
  • A 2-inch accessory receiver hitch with a 350-pound capacity.
  • An aerodynamic front profile to decrease wind resistance and drag.
  • Fully prepped Wi-Fi.
