Xantrex and social media celebrities the RV Geeks are hosting a YouTube livestream about solar power.
The RV Geeks installed a 1,300-watt Xantrex solar system on their Newmar London Aire and have been traveling full time in the motorhome. They will be joined by Tech Doctor Don Wilson, an industry veteran with over 35 years of experience in mobile power and an instructor at the RVIA technical clinic; Wesley Shuen, solar product manager at Xantrex; and Adam McLaughlin of the RVers TV.
The livestream airs at 8 p.m. ET Thursday on the RV Geeks’ YouTube channel and the Xantrex YouTube channel.
Solar can be an important energy source to maintain and charge batteries, Xantrex said, but the system needs to be sized and installed properly. The company said dealers, installers and end-users would benefit from the livestream.
