Xponent Power, Inc., a renewable energy company, partnered with Clean Energy Associates (CEA) to manufacture its new solar awning.
The solar-panel-lined awning first was announced in October 2021.
The Xpanse solar awning has received tremendous interest from RV owners and OEMs, XPonent Power said.
“With a global footprint in over 60 countries worldwide, the CEA team brings deep expertise in the solar industry and strong relationships with a large list of suppliers and contract manufacturers in the space,” Xponent CEO Rohini Raghunathan said “Xponent Power is thrilled to leverage CEA’s experience to accelerate the development of our supply chain and manufacturing partnerships to deliver our innovative solar awning as efficiently as possible.”
Xponent’s awning provides shade while simultaneously generating more than 1,200 watts of solar power.

Xponent Power plans to ship the awning to U.S. customers in 2023.
