Daryl Zook founded KZ RV in 1972 in Shipshewana, Indiana, achieving his desire to build a truck camper company. The. company was bought by Thor in 2014, largely for its travel trailer, fifth wheel, and toy hauler brands and distribution network of over 200 dealers.

Aram Koltookian became KZ RV president in 2015. Today, the company’s campus covers 530,000 square feet of manufacturing space, includes over 600 employees and 12 product lines, with over 150 floorplans.
