The sale of Edmundson RV in Edinburgh, Indiana, to Fun Town RV has closed, Performance Brokerage Services said Thursday.

Fun Town RV disclosed the sale back in mid-July.

Edmundson RV was established in 1996 by Chris and Jeanie Edmundson and has operated at its current location since inception. The dealership boasts a building totaling 75,000 square feet. The service department was built in 2006 and features 32 fully equipped service bays. The dealership operates on 12 developed acres with an indoor showroom and indoor solarium.

Jesse Stopnitzky, co-owner and director of the RV Division at Performance Brokerage Services, was the exclusive sell-side advisor for the transaction.

Stopnitzky said, “Nearly 30 years ago, Chris had the foresight to build a state-of-the-art RV dealership that could properly service the current demand from RV customers. For decades, Chris trained his team that the simple act of listening to the customers’ needs and offering personal attention would allow them to excel in this highly competitive industry.”

In 2023, Camping World was set to acquire the dealership.

The dealership is Fun Town RV’s second Indiana location.

Stopnitzky said, “Chris and Jeanie are finally able to enjoy the retirement that they deserve with peace of mind knowing that their team members, customers and community are in good hands with Fun Town RV.”

Fun Town RV operates over 30 locations in seven states

Edmundson RV will be renamed Fun Town RV Indianapolis and will remain at its current location, 14501 North U.S. Highway 31 in Edinburgh.
