Way Interglobal introduced a new full-sized refrigerator product recently and is now working with OEs to include it in new RV units. The residential refrigerator by Way Interglobal is the largest 12-volt fridge on the RV market, according to the company.

The company shared details about its new 17 cubic foot 12-volt RV refrigerator by Everchill last week. Its new model builds on “decades of continuous innovation,” according to Way Interglobal, and a company spokesman said the residential size is a major improvement.

“We know that consumers are looking for that feel of home when they’re in their RVs,” said Wayne Kaylor, CEO of Way Interglobal. “What better way to give it to them than a residential size refrigerator for their vehicles. As the leaders in 12-volt fridges, we’re excited to work with our OEM partners to outfit their latest vehicles with this 17 cubic foot model.”

The new fridge is 30” wide and counter-depth, and the latest model from Everchill by Way Interglobal. With features like stainless steel finish, french doors and freezer drawer, LED lighting and glass shelves, the RV fridge is designed to feel like home.

“We also know how important being able to dry camp is to RV owners today, so like all our 12-volt fridges, the new 17 cubic foot model is designed for boondocking,” Kaylor said.

Way Interglobal rolled out a handful of new RV kitchen appliances recently, including a new gas range and dual grill/griddle product for RVs. Click here to read about those products.

The company has produced 12-volt fridges in its Everchill brand for years, but a company spokesman said this larger version is a major breakthrough. The company announced that its “turbo cool features” are still included, and are meant to keep frozen foods frozen.

The 17 cubic foot fridge does not require a power inverter or external ventilation. It pairs with Merlin solar panels, available from Way Interglobal, and two deep cycle batteries to give owners the freedom to roam and never worry about powering up in the morning.
