Newmar’s new concierge-level Signature Experience is among the manufacturer’s 2027 model year highlights.

Details about the program were revealed first at the annual dealer meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in February. Model year upgrades were embargoed until this morning.

Additional model year upgrades include a new Freedom Aire compact Type C floorplan, lifecycle changes for the Essex and New Aire motorhomes, and new artisan paint design schemes.

The Newmar Signature Experience is available only to King Aire buyers and applies to stock RVs and retail orders.

The package includes a personal call from Newmar President Casey Tubman after the purchase, a welcome gift package, ongoing updates during manufacturing and factory-delivery options. Factory delivery includes a black carpet and a champagne experience. Consumers who choose dealer delivery will be greeted by a Newmar representative, champagne and Newmar-branded champagne flutes.

After delivery, King Aire consumers receive a 12-month service plan in addition to the standard manufacturer’s warranty. Consumers receive priority service at Newmar’s facility in Nappanee, Indiana, and a SafeRide roadside assistance plan.

All service work covered by the 12-month plan must be completed by Newmar dealers rated Gold, Platinum or Diamond in their service programs. All Newmar King Aire dealers last year had service programs rated at one of the three levels.

Newmar’s Vice President of Customer Experience and Quality Simone Silva said the decision to limit work to dealers reaching those levels ensures the best possible customer satisfaction outcomes.

“We are investing in the customer,” she said, “and reinforcing the dealership network at the same time.”

Newmar Vice President of Marketing and Strategy Ryan Buurstra said the program was more than providing perks to consumers.

“It is about designing an ownership experience that matches the product,” he said, “one that builds trust and confidence, reduces anxiety and strengthens loyalty.”

Newmar Vice President of Sales Matt Ellinger said the Newmar Signature Experience will elevate consumers’ delivery experiences.

“We think that customer who invests in Newmar at that price point deserves all that,” he said. “We took a long time creating that. Having seen it come to fruition is a thing we think King Aire buyers will appreciate.”

New Floorplan

The Freedom Aire 2512 is the focal point among six new floorplans Newmar will release in the 2027 model year.

The 25-foot compact Type C motorhome is built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4500 chassis. The floorplan features twin beds with a full bathroom on the passenger side of the motorhome. A single slide out on the driver’s side contains a galley, refrigerator and theater seating.

The twin-bed rear layout enabled Newmar to provide an exterior gear garage. The passthrough space includes room to store skis, folding bicycles and other gear.

An optional lithium battery package includes 960 amp hours of Lithionics batteries, a 3,000-watt inverter and a dual induction cooktop.

Ellinger said the layout was a design the industry had not seen and a floorplan that Newmar designers had not copied.

“We wanted to be different,” he said. “It came out better than I even anticipated, so that excites me a lot.”

Lifecycle Changes

Two Newmar motorhomes received full lifecycle changes, upgrades that the manufacturer provides to each model on four-year cycles.

The New Aire luxury model features what Newmar Head of Design Eric Beak called a modern luxury exterior paint graphic design driven by grayscale tones.

Beak said New Aire is embracing simplicity yet still luxurious. He said interior designs feature geometric shapes to make the appearance clean and less visually distracting. The motorhome features new flooring, backsplashes, fascia and window treatments. Cabinet doors, hardware, lighting and furniture style have been updated.

The Essex lifecycle change features two interior decor options: a contemporary and a traditional. The contemporary design reflects the New Aire model, with upgrades to the flooring that incorporate natural stone characterized by pronounced, deep veining—celebrating the authenticity and organic movement that only genuine stone can provide. He said the flooring adds visual depth and timeless material richness to the space.

The décor incorporates gray tones and features full bath vanity mirrors, new cabinet doors and hardware and a new accent wall.

Beak said the Essex’s traditional décor features elegant, classic shapes with natural wood and copper accents.

“That is a modern interpretation of the classic and traditional luxury,” he said. “Traditional décor is providing welcoming and comfortable…relaxing ambience.”

Expanded Artisan Paint Designs

Newmar displayed three new artisan paint designs at its dealer meeting, among numerous consumer options. Andrew Mitschelen, lead specials and advanced development engineer, said the paint program was successful in its debut last year. He said the early reaction to the new designs has been equally positive.

“We want our customers not only to be able to build the inside the way they want, but now they can customize their exterior,” he said. “We have some of the best painters in the world at Newmar.”

Ellinger said Newmar leaders did not have expectations last year when the artisan paint designs were released. The manufacturer made 21 custom-built exterior designs in the 2026 model year.

“We might do 42 next year,” Ellinger said. “We know we do that really well, and we know that is a one-of-one. We know our customers, and they are proud of their exteriors.”
