RecNation Storage, an RV and boat storage company that announced plans to launch a peer-to-peer RV rental platform in January, will open a licensed RV dealership.

The dealership will enable RecNation to offer RV consignment sales to its RV storage customers who are interested in selling their RV, the company said. The offering will be called RecResale.

“Combined, this allows RecNation to offer all its RV customers the ability to rent their RVs and generate extra income like AirBnB does for homeowners,” RecNation said, “and if they desire, will allow them sell their RVs in a very convenient, low-risk way.”

RecNation Chief Camper Gary Wojtasek said the company is developing the most robust ecosystem in the recreational storage market.

“This is just another example of the enhanced customer value we offer our storage customers,” Wojtasek said, “and reinforces why they choose us for their RV storage solution.”
