Report: Dealers’ Long-Term Views Remain Cautious

Dealers are moving away from previous bullish outlooks on the long-term industry outlook, according to the latest Baird Dealer Sentiment Index.

The index, conducted jointly by Baird and RVDA, found the three- to five- year outlook decreased from October’s 64 out of 100 index to 57 out of 100 registered in November. This reflects a decrease of 11.6%.

Among current conditions, dealers appeared more bullish than previous months, rising again to 69 out of 100 from a registered 64 in October. The registered responses reflect a rise of 7.52%.
