RV Retailer (RVR) is acquiring Texas-based Pharr RVs and Arizona-based Affinity RV, with the acquisitions slated to be completed in December. The acquisitions give RVR 17 Texas stores and six Arizona stores.

Jon Ferrando, RVR president and CEO, pointed to the dealerships’ geographical locations as important pieces of the acquisitions.

“Pharr RVs provides RV Retailer expansion into West Texas and grows our presence to 17 stores in Texas, the largest RV market in the United States,” Ferrando said. “Affinity RV extends our Arizona footprint into fast-growing RV markets in northern Arizona. We welcome all the team members of Pharr RVs and Affinity RV to the RV Retailer family.”

Affinity RV has two dealerships in northern Arizona, Prescott and Prescott Valley. Each location includes a service and sales center. Affinity General Manager Bob Been will continue as general manager under the direction of Brad Leach, RVR region president.

Pharr RVs is in Lubbock, Texas, near Interstate 27 and Texas 289. Ferrando said Pharr RV has been family-owned and operated since 1969 and will be under the direction of Larry Hall, RVR region president.
