Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and American Coach RV, all owned by Terex Corporation, have opened a dedicated Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Center in Decatur, Indiana. Terex said the new facility is designed to enhance the dealer and customer delivery experience.

Terex President of RVs Gary Gunter said the facility provides a center for specialized focus on final inspection and preparation before motorhomes are shipped to dealers.

“Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and American Coach have long focused on delivering quality motorhomes, and this new PDI Center represents another investment in that commitment,” Gunter said. “By adding a dedicated final inspection facility, we can provide dealers with coaches that are consistently prepared for delivery while supporting an outstanding ownership experience for customers.”

Terex said the facility features enhanced inspection technology that helps to ensure consistent product presentation and smooth handoffs to customers.

Fleetwood Director of Operations Rob Kowalczyk said the new PDI Center reinforces the company’s ongoing investment in quality systems.

“I’m proud of the work our team has done to bring the new PDI Center online,” Kowalczyk said. “This facility gives us the time, space and processes needed to continue to perform thorough final inspections so dealers receive motorhomes they can confidently present to their customers.”

Terex said the PDI Center will operate as a dedicated inspection facility separate from the production line. It will enable the company’s quality teams to focus exclusively on final verification, inspection and preparation prior to shipment.

“For dealers, the center helps streamline final delivery preparation and improves efficiency from arrival to retail display,” Terex said. “The goal is to support faster inventory readiness while enabling dealers to focus on customer engagement and delivery.”
